Thanks for visiting my blog on Extending Time at Home. If you wish to age /live /grow at home, you are in the majority of Americans who want the same thing. It makes sense, doesn't it...staying in your home surrounded by your loved ones, your memories, and your things? It is possible for many people (not all) to do this, but it takes work, planning, and resources. All things worth while usually require these inputs.
I will use this blog to relay information about aging and aging resources, with a focus on Aging in Place and options for elders. With my education in Gerontology (study of aging) and my experience as a professional in the aging field, I hope I can be a resource as you and your loved ones age. I also hope to learn from you and your experiences. So visit often, ask questions, and join in the discussions. We are aging together.
